Ingredients:

2 med Onions (Chopped)
2 med Tomatoes (Chopped)

1 Green Chilli (Chopped finely)
1 Green Pepper (Chopped in 1” squares)
1 Clove Garlic (Ground / Crushed)
2” Ginger (Ground / Crushed)

500g Prawns (washed)
2 tlb Tomato Puree

Leaves from 10 fresh Coriander stalks (Chopped)

Spice paste:
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tsp    Curry Powder
1 tsp    Chilli Powder
Seeds of 2 Green Cardomon Pods
Pinch of Black Pepper
Pinch of Coriander Powder
Pinch of Garam Masala
Pinch of Salt

Cooking Oil {Sunflower or Vegetable}

Method:

Cook the onions till they are lightly browned then add them in the pot with the onions and continue to stir over the stove on a medium heat for 2 minutes. (Medium heat)

Add Green Chilli, Green Pepper, Garlic and Ginger and cook for a further 2 minutes. (Medium heat)

Add Spice paste and cook for a further 2-5 minutes, add a little water if necessary. (Medium heat)

You are now 5-7 minutes from being ready to serve dinner, so if necessary put the Bunah to one side.

Add the Prawns and Tomato Puree and stir them into the Bunah sauce, they should only take 4-5 minutes to cook, so careful not to over cook. (Add more water if necessary)

Sprinkle chopped Coriander and squeeze remaining lemon over the Prawn Bunah and your ready to serve.
