Method:
Stage 1: Add the following to large sauce pan and simmer
- 2 cans tomatoes
- ½ can tomato puree
Stage 2: Heat frying pan and add a little olive oil
- Gently cook the chopped onions, then add them to sauce pan
- Gently cook sliced mushrooms, then add them to sauce pan
- Cook diced bacon, then add to sauce pan
- Cook mince meat, then add to sauce pan
- Add glass of white wine and boiling water as necessary
Stage 3: Place sauce pan with lid in oven
- Leave to cook at 140°C for 1 hour
- Remove from oven and leave to cool
Stage 4: Bag ready for freezing
- 200g portions work really well
