Ingredients:

  • 65g plain flour
  • 65g icing sugar
  • 65g softened butter
  • 2 egg whites
  • 50g chopped nuts (any)

Method:

Pre heat the oven to 160°c

Sift the flour and icing sugar together in a bowl
Place the butter and egg whites in a blender and blend until smooth
Add the flour and icing sugar and blend
Refrigerate for 5min

Using a spatula spread thinly the tuille mix onto a stencil onto a lined baking sheet
Sprinkle with chopped nuts
Cook for 5-6min until slightly golden around the edges

Carefully remove from the oven and drape over a rolling pin to gain shape (or other shape, for example a cone) and leave to cool in place

Use to add crunch to dishes, such as the panna cotta with raspberry jelly
